The restaurant Boinabrasa was founded in 2013 by us - a Brazilian-Swiss family - and is still run with passion and success. Our Churrasco-Steakhouse in Zurich (Dielsdorf) offers with 140 indoor and 40 terrace seats ideal capacities for any events and has several free parking spaces for our guests.
Steak restaurant of a special kind
The strength and values of our restaurant lie in the authentic and traditional preparation of "Churrasco". Churrasco is a Brazilian grilling tradition where juicy cuts of beef, lamb, pork as well as chicken fillet are strung on large skewers and grilled. This particular culinary tradition began in the early 19th century when the gauchos (European immigrants who settled in the Rio Grande do Sul region) would gather, light a fire, skewer large cuts of meat and slowly grill them.
The exclamation "Boi na brasa!" means, as it were, "The bull is over the embers!" and, as an announcement, embodies the anticipation of a delicious warm delicacy in a convivial atmosphere.

Rodizio steak à discrétion: Culinary excursion from Zurich to Brazil
In our Churrascaria, our professionally trained Churrasco grill masters - the "Churrasqueiros" - prepare juicy steak meat according to an old Gaucho recipe and grill it evenly on rotating skewers. Then our friendly "passadores" bring the meat to your table, over and over again, round after round, until you are completely satisfied. The Brazilian Gaucho steaks are individually cut from the skewer for your plate. This traditional way of serving meat is called "rodizio," which literally means "the spinning thing." With a kind of traffic light system at the table (green & red button) our guests can signal to our service staff when you would like to be served meat and when not.

But not only meat lovers can experience a culinary journey to Brazil in our Steakhouse in Zurich-Dielsdorf. A colorful and appetizing buffet of about 25 hot and cold side dishes and salads is part of our menu à discrétion. So our restaurant offers a wide variety of pleasures and tastes for vegetarians as well. The buffet and the churrasco rodizio are designed as all-you-can-eat with fixed CHF prices.

Whether juicy steak meat in Churrasco style, or aromatic compositions from the buffet: as a Brazilian Churrascaria, we attach great importance to an authentic ambience. This is not only reflected in the goucho dress of our "Passadores". When it comes to desserts and drinks, our restaurant's menu also offers tasty South American options. Discover Brazilian desserts like grilled pineapple or mango mousse. You will also find classic desserts such as chocolate mousse or ice cream coupes.
As a churrasco steakhouse & bar, we naturally have a wide selection of select beverages for you on the menu. Whether Brazilian wine, Brazilian beer, delicious fruit juices, cocktails, liquors or aperitifs: If you have a hard time deciding, we will be happy to advise you based on your personal preferences.
